Sungudisaree Making Process
Every Sungudi saree begins its journey as a simple grey piece, patiently woven on the loom using fine 100-count cotton yarn by skilled artisans whose craft has been passed down through generations. This lightweight fabric may look ordinary at first, but it carries the promise of transformation. Once the weaving is complete, the cloth moves into the dyeing process – a delicate art where natural colors are carefully prepared and applied using traditional techniques.
